About Jim Blum

Jim is an experienced sales and sales operations executive, having led organizations at some of the largest, most successful, industry leading, high growth companies.

His successful projects include building and leading a global inside sales organization producing over $2B in revenue with 1,000 sales agents, creating a mobile digital selling platform used by over 65,000 global sales agents, and transforming legacy hardware sales centric compensation plans into futuristic plans that embrace the Cloud and other forms of new customer tech consumption.

Prior to co-founding Strategic Sales Advisors, Jim spent 17 years at Cisco. Before this, Jim led teams in the telecom and industrial manufacturing industries.

Jim holds a MBA from Virginia Tech’s R.B. Pamplin School of Business and a B.S. degree in finance, also from Virginia Tech.
